Artist and US Consul General Support SOLD at Gallery Opening
Recently, artist and SOLD friend Lisa Moses held an art gallery opening at Sangdee Gallery in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Lisa and her husband, Danny, have been good friends of our SOLD team in Chiang Rai for a few years now, from poolside afternoons at their house to fun dinners out on the town to all the support and encouragement they offer those living there. (Lisa, a ballet dancer, and Danny, a musician, met while touring with “Disney on Parade” back in the day. How cool is that?!) We were honored and excited to a be a part of Lisa’s gallery opening, where Lisa donated a portion of her proceeds to SOLD.
The U.S. Consul General in Chiang Mai, Ken Foster, was also there to support Lisa’s work, and it was a pleasure meeting him. Mr. Foster, who speaks Thai, French, Khmer, and Haitian Creole, began his consulate duties in Chiang Mai this January.
The SOLD Project would like to extend a very big thank you to both Lisa Moses and Mr. Foster for their generous donations to our organization!
