The FREEZE Project

You’re walking downtown, right? And suddenly, more than half of the people around you just freeze in place. All at once. Suddenly, no one is moving and they stay that way for five whole minutes. They’ve got your attention, right?

Welcome to The Freeze Project, which took place today in over two dozen cities. Think “flash mob with a purpose.” After freezing for five minutes, we handed out fliers about human trafficking to raise awareness.  We also helped to get petition signatures for California against Slavery so that a new human trafficking initiative can get on the upcoming California ballot to increase victims’ rights, require two hours of training for law enforcement, and increase the (currently minimal) penalties for traffickers.  Hey California voters–sign the petition!
