SOLD Named to “2012 Top-Rated List” by GreatNonprofits

November 14, 2012

GreatNonprofits 2012 Top-Rated AwardsWhen you work in the nonprofit sector, especially for a relatively small international organization like SOLD, you don’t often get a lot of public affirmation. Which is fine, of course, and much to be expected. Public affirmation isn’t the point of nonprofit service—not by a long shot. Day in and day out, you just stay true to your vision and do the work, and—difficult as it can sometimes be—the work is its own reward. Ask anyone on our staff.

Still, it’s always nice to hear you’re doing something right. : )

Just this week, we found out we’ve been named to GreatNonprofits’ 2012 Top-Rated List!

Which means we have YOU to thank! An organization can only be named to the list if it receives 10 or more positive reviews from donors, volunteers, and other enthusiastic supporters. SOLD has been rated five stars across the board by 15 people (and counting!) So, THANK YOU!

We’re very excited, and not just because we love reading all the nice things you wrote about us. Being named to this list means that The SOLD Project will be highlighted on the GreatNonprofits site this year, which receives over 1.4 million unique visitors annually. Furthermore, the 2012 Top-Rated List will be distributed this holiday season to GreatNonprofits’ media partners like The Huffington Post and TakePart, as well as to 2,000 corporate foundations.

We’ve said it before and we’ll definitely say it again: we’re so encouraged to have partners and supporters like you. You’ve definitely earned a five-star rating.
